Report of a Case of Pseudomonas Meningitis treated with Gentamiein |

An experience was gained on the use of Gentamicin intrathecally for Pseudomonas meningitis.
30 year old undernourished house-wife who had a history of gynecological operation under the spinal anesthesia a week before admission to this hospital, was treated successfully with medication of gentamicin, 1 mg daily intrathecally, and 2~4 mg/kg per day intramusculary in divided doses. (table 1)
No toxic effects were seen in this case.
