Diagnostic Value of ELISA Typhoid Fever - Its Sensitivity and Specificity-

The diagnostic value of ELISA for typhoid fever was tested with 43 sera from patients with enteric fever and 27 sera from patient who had had no known history of enteric fever. IgG antibody was most commonly elevated (in 97.6%), followed by IgA (in 38.3%) and IgM antibody (in 65.1%).
