Infections caused by Gemella morbillorum are rare. We report a case of meningitis caused by G. morillorum. A 42-year-old man had suffered from trigeminal neuralgia for the last 3 years and was admitted for microvascular decompression. Seven days after operation he developed meningitis. G. morbillorum was identified on CSF culture. Antibiotic therapy with ceftriaxone continued for 14 days and the patient recovered.
